Step 2Your consultation appointment
Ahead of your operation there is a thorough consultation with us. Please bring along photos of yourself as a young adult (from around the age of 18) and allow an hour of your time.
Upper eyelid or lower eyelid?
In the consultation we work out which correction will open up your eyes again — often the combination is the sensible one.
Whichever route it is — from here on we go on together. Both corrections can also be combined in a single procedure.

Step 3Safety check
We make sure you are optimally prepared for your procedure and draw up the surgical plan for your eyelid surgery, so that nothing is left to chance. We give you important tips so that you are as well organised and looked after as possible for the first few days afterwards, even before the surgery.

Step 4Your eyelid operation
In the state-of-the-art operating theatres at the Kuzbari Centre we carry out your eyelid surgery calmly and safely — and shortly after the small outpatient procedure you come to your room, where you can rest for a while. Most patients go home two to three hours after the operation.
Congratulations — your fresh gaze!
After 1–2 weeks you are presentable again; the final result shows after about 2–3 months — and the natural shape of your eyes is preserved throughout.

The final result of your eyelid lift
The result of your eyelid lift is a fresh and younger appearance. In the first days after the operation your eyes are still very swollen, but after just 1–2 weeks you will look better than before. The final result shows after about 2–3 months, once your body has fully recovered.

Everything takes place under one roof: consultation, diagnostics, surgery and aftercare. After a thorough consultation with our experts the procedure is carried out on an outpatient basis, followed by individual aftercare.
How long does the whole process take, from consultation to healing?
The visible recovery is quick: after 1–2 weeks you are usually presentable again. The final result shows after about 2–3 months, once the last residual swelling has settled. We accompany you at every stage.
Do I have to arrange separate appointments for the aftercare?
No, the aftercare is included in our all-round service and is carried out right here at the Kuzbari Centre, with no extra journeys.
What preparations are needed before the operation?
You receive a checklist covering points such as avoiding certain medicines or stopping nicotine. Our doctors brief you in detail.
Can I go home on the day of the operation?
Yes, all eyelid procedures are outpatient, so you can go home after the procedure. We make sure the experience is safe and comfortable.
Is there a waiting time for an appointment?
Thanks to our three surgeons we can offer flexible appointments. As a rule you get a consultation appointment within a few days, and the surgery date can be as soon as 14 days after the consultation.
