Upper eyelid surgery, 22
What bothered the patient:
The patient was troubled by an asymmetry of the eyelids: the right lid hung visibly lower, which had become more pronounced after a weight loss of around 15 kg. Towards evening the drooping lid became more marked each time.
Operation performed:
Correction of the drooping lid (ptosis) by reattaching the levator muscle (levator reinsertion), together with an upper eyelid lift on both sides.
